We are hoping for the terrace to become a new area for camping/glamping and various events one day as well as place for more fruit trees. Thanx to huge help of volunteers, the area has been cleared last year from remains of old huts, bushes and overgrowing laurel. We then hired a huge mower to cut the last remains of big branches. The next step was to get rid of stumps to flatten the area and to stop trees from growing back. We hired Grindella and she did a great job.
There is one remaining task to do which is to clear the area from larger stones, logs and an old carpet (and other yet undiscovered treasures).
Please join us for spring equinox bonfire on March 23rd to finish the job and have a dance around fire on a newly finished terrace.
MTP also just received a small grant from Fife Communities Climate Action Network to plant more fruit trees this year. We will keep you updated.
