First up is B*craft – hailing from Aberdeen, Louise and Katherine sing soulful original songs with some appropriate covers thrown in.
Secondly we have Metatone, a long term stalwart of the alternative Scottish independent grunge scene. They are doing an unplugged set for Monimail so expect the unexpected.
Next is Ian Bruce, local folk singer songwriter who will make you laugh and cry in the space of one of his verses. His latest double CD was voted Celtic Music Radio album of the year 2023.
Then it will be Rråm, newcomers to the scene, this will be their third gig, full of energy they play melody-laced catchy psychedelic originals, this local outfit aim to keep the summer rocking! check them out
Finally it is Aunty and the Bacterials who will play their mixture of Klesma, Ska, Folk and Reggae and be sure to get everyone on their feet dancing. The ensemble featuring amongst other sounds fiddle, bazouki, drums, bass, congas and clarinet are from Edinburgh and Fife and with no weblink to offer, you will have to come along to hear their amazing tunes in person!!
